From a tasting and visit to
Breaux Vineyards in July 2011.
This
may be their "investment" wine - I'd buy a case of it to open over the years. a traditional red blend in the
Bordeaux tradition that should only get more mellow and delicious with
age. It was very easy to drink, and I got a big hit of fruit and a deep
chocolate undertone. It is 15% ETOH, so of course, I loved it.
(
my guess on the blend is: 60% Merlot, 30% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Cab Franc)
