There are pictures to show my shame. I opened this bottle to have with a leftover Goat cheese, Spinach and Tomato Foccacia from the Farmers Market. It was great. A nice, semi sweet wine that is just crisp enough to add a punch. It is semi dry, and adds a great clean taste. I like Riesling, and this NY state bottle was great.
But I was still hungry. The cupboard is BARE. Seriously empty. I broke down and made TJ's unsalted unblanched peanut butter (days from it's expiration in the fridge) and Polaner all fruit grape jelly over light crispbread. IT WAS GREAT! A semi sweet wine with PB&J wow - I learn something new every day!!
From the taste of this wine with the peanut butter, I would go so far as to say that this would go well with a Thai meal with any peanut sauce or Pad Thai.
