If you like light, dry, fresh yummy white wine with a hint of citrus, run out and buy this. It is GREAT. It smells kind of tropical, it is very easy to drink and I think it would be a great wine to have with shrimp.
This morning, after a trip to the dentist (no cavities), I stopped at TJ's to stock up. I don't know why I chose this bottle. Maybe because I am trying to expand my exposure to white wine. It was fortuitous, this Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC is a really nice wine at a great price.I made a three grain butternut squash and sage risotto, and served it over a bed of baby spinach. I used the wine in cooking the risotto, and we drank it with dinner. It was a great late spring supper.
We bought this on a whim because my wife's maiden name is Armento. Have yet to try it.
